Content of One-on-Ones: The focus during one-on-one meetings tends to be exclusively on work. Task Overload and Management Criticism: We're constantly swamped with an unreasonable number of simultaneous tasks, which disrupts focus and undermines productivity. To add insult to injury, managers don't hesitate to criticize us when we fail to juggle all these tasks effectively, while paradoxically piling on more work. Instead of safeguarding our time to let us concentrate on high-priority goals, it feels as though we're being set up for failure. Feedback Mechanism: The current system allows for sharing of feedback only during the biannual reviews. Implementing a more frequent and open feedback mechanism can enhance communication and allow for quicker resolution of issues and continuous improvement. The problem appears to be rooted in the leadership. the CEO seems to operate under the impression that everyone should be unconditionally deferential towards him. This top-down issue is negatively affecting the organization's culture.
