Pros
The leadership team is responsible and engaged and genuinely cares about the company's mission and its employees. Compensation is evaluated regularly (they'll give you a raise before you ask for it) and great performance is rewarded financially and with promotion. The company is growing quickly because there's a real demand for their product, which is an exciting environment to be in. The best part is the people who work here: my colleagues are brilliant, engaged, and fun to be around.
Cons
Typical start-up growing pains like lack of defined processes in certain areas. I think most folks are generally able to keep a handle on work-life balance but sometimes the hours can be a stretch since the company is growing so quickly. NYC employees are expected to be in the office 2-3 days/week.
