I've enjoyed my experience working at No Dogs Left Behind. What stands out most is how dedicated everyone is to the mission of helping rescue animals and finding them safe homes. The team is supportive, and people genuinely care about the work they do. It feels good to be part of an organization where your efforts contribute to something meaningful. I've also had the chance to work with passionate colleagues who are always willing to help and share ideas.

As with many nonprofit organizations, resources can sometimes be limited, so employees may need to be flexible and take on different responsibilities when priorities change.

Volunteering with NDLB enabled me to give back and support an organization that fights tooth and nail to rescue dogs from the unimaginable and horrific dog meat trade while also allowing me to gain invaluable experience on canine behaviour and handling. Most rewarding was the sense of fulfillment achieved from knowing that you made a difference to the survivors given a second chance and that you were an integral part of their journey to a better life from intake to adoption. NDLB solidified my desire to advocate for the voiceless and continue on the path of animal welfare. For that, I am grateful to both the organization and the animals within it.

Rescue work can be emotionally challenging, physically demanding and intense but the benefits far outweigh the cons
