It is a phone based job and they make it clear from the beginning, so if you want diversity this is not for you. You’ll make phone calls from day one which is both scary and beneficial for you. Unfortunately there’s a lot of micro management and the managers breathing on your neck. If you’re not on the phone for 2 minutes they will start looking weird at you. Also there’s no flexibility with your plan throughout the day, so no autonomy at all. What’s worst is that you’ll be encouraged to work during the weekends under the reason that this will help you code and understand your market much better , resulting in you making more placements, so more commission. Sadly, this will happen during the week as well, where people stay in the office on average around 7-7.40 pm every single day. I felt awkward being the only one leaving at 5.30-6pm. You don’t get any resources such a laptop or mobile phone , not even LinkedIn recruiter which will make your job much more difficult. So how do you expect your people to perform if you don’t give them the resources? All in all, it’s a tough environment and not for everyone, unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend nonstop
