Pros

When I first joined, the company had a genuinely positive culture with supportive teams, manageable workloads, and a strong sense of collaboration. Unfortunately, that has changed quite significantly over the past year.

Cons

Despite going through financial difficulties and a team restructure, largely caused by overly ambitious expansion, the senior leadership team remains overly optimistic. There’s little sign that lessons have been learned, and decision-making continues without fully addressing the realities on the ground. Tight budgets and high expectations have led to widespread overworking. While management regularly states that overtime is discouraged, the workload often makes it impossible to complete tasks within standard hours over a five-day week. As a result, late-night working has become normal. When quality inevitably suffers due to stretched resources, it’s the employees who are held accountable. One of the more disheartening aspects has been the company’s lack of recognition for loyalty and consistent effort. Junior employees who deliver quality work are often overlooked, with few development opportunities offered. Instead, external hires and promotions for senior staff take precedence. There are still talented and kind individuals here, and the company has potential to improve. But for early-career professionals seeking genuine growth, work-life balance, and a truly inclusive environment, I’d recommend approaching with realistic expectations.

Pros

I've had a positive experience working here. The senior staff in my team are highly competent and are committed to delivering high-quality work, which sets a good professional standard. The traffic engineering projects are interesting and can be high-profile. Continuous learning and professional growth is both encouraged and supported. I enjoy the hybrid working policy, and the team culture is quite inclusive and collaborative.

Cons

It can be quite busy at times, but I personally find the variety of work and projects make it a rewarding experience overall.
