Pros

Offers remote job options, providing flexibility in work location.

Cons

Toxic Micromanagement: The micromanagement culture here is suffocating. Every task is scrutinized and controlled, leaving little room for autonomy. Excessive Work Hours: Expect to work long hours daily, often stretching beyond what is reasonable, with no recognition or support for your extra efforts. Lack of Listening: There’s no one in management who listens to concerns or values feedback. The work-life balance is virtually nonexistent, and your well-being is completely overlooked. Very Poor Management: Management is disconnected from the reality of the team’s struggles. Decisions are often made without regard for the actual impact on employees, and the lack of communication makes it even worse. Employees Treated as Numbers: The company views its employees as mere numbers, with little regard for their individual well-being, contributions, or career growth. It’s all about metrics and performance, with no personal value placed on the people behind the work.

Pros

Norstella has built a culture that genuinely prioritizes innovation, collaboration, and doing what’s best for the company and its people. There’s a strong sense that everyone is working toward the same goals, and leaders across the organization are aligned in driving meaningful impact. One of the best parts of working here is the team environment. I truly enjoy working with my direct team as well as peers across different functions. There’s a high level of mutual respect, and people are always willing to support each other and share ideas. It’s not just talk, there’s a real commitment to helping one another succeed. The leadership team fosters an environment where new ideas are encouraged, and employees are empowered to contribute. It creates a space where innovation can thrive, and you feel like your work actually matters.

Cons

Being remote has its difficulties, but overcomable
