      Benefits were fantastic, sleeping quarters were good, and location was in a nice part of town.

      Cons

      Colleagues are absolutely heinous behind your back, even as bold to verbally assault you directly to your face, but especially when you were just a console away. Inexperienced employee trainers, with reprehensible behavior and character - moreover, acceptable behavior to be beyond malicious to citizens calling for assistance.

      Dispatch is a hard job, but at NCDJPA, the employees are supported and valued both internally and by the outside agencies.

      Cons

      Dispatch is a hard job with long hours and shift work. It can be very stressful and that can take a toll on your personal life so finding work/life balance will be crucial to long term success.
