Pros

Great colleagues, Flexible vacation, Catered meals

Cons

Non-competitive compensation All talk, no follow-through on initiatives and “transparency” Unrealistic deadlines for projects, forcing people to work an incredible amount of (unpaid) overtime Leadership makes proclamations on projects, plans, and deadlines, without any understanding of the man hours needed to complete tasks

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Gender balance is part of our commitment to diversity, which remains a priority as we move forward. More than just the numbers, we believe in a culture of inclusiveness. At North, everyone has the same access to opportunities to develop their career. As a startup, tight deadlines are often unavoidable and the pace of work is not always a fit for everyone. We acknowledge that this is not an easy path and that there is a lot of work ahead if we are to achieve our goals.

Pros

The only positive was getting exposure to a new industry I genuinely found interesting and enjoyed learning about.

Cons

Management hired me knowing I had no prior experience in merchant services, told me it would take 2–3 months to build a pipeline, and then fired me after exactly 30 days for “lack of production.” Despite having 3 new accounts onboarded the previous day. I was given zero coaching, no sales guidance, and no access to inbound leads, while others on the team were clearly closing deals from inbound queues. I was handed old, cold, often disconnected leads and expected to perform miracles with no real support or live training. The onboarding was minimal, the leadership team lacked accountability, and the entire culture felt disingenuous—lots of surface-level encouragement, but no actual help when it came to execution. When I asked for support, I was told to figure it out. If you’re looking for a company that invests in its people, provides real coaching, or cares about new reps ramping up properly—this is not that place.
