The boss and his favorite tech complain that their office women don’t look like the ones in ads and will consistently talk down to you. He has no idea what his employees are doing because he doesn’t live in town, he is rarely in one city for a week, and he’ll leave the state on a whim. This would be fine, but his main concerns were budget and communicating decisions with him. He will promise a job that won’t exist in 2 months as specifically “non-temporary”, because he couldn’t think that far ahead and should have hired in a different city. “Full-time” is subject to be cut to 20 hours within a month and don’t expect to have your entire probation period to prove yourself. He has no business mind and lives in the red. He’ll make special deals for customers, but I hope you have the money and aren’t “too small”. Inconsistent pricing, never in his own office, unreachable, can not offload decisions, and will fire you with a Teams message. He doesn’t have an office in the building, it’s in his home hours away. He trusts his own opinion over his top employees who are actually in-office and doing the work, every time. He will not reward new employees even if they show better skill than his known sub-contractors, and will not explain his complaints so you can grow. He constantly reminds employees to be smarter with the company finances, but chooses turnover after turnover blindly. He overworks his office manager and is boggled when they can’t finish everything. Instead of train his employees, he’ll take their responsibilities for himself- making him even more unreachable.
