Pros

Flexible Scheduling: The job can be done during your spare time outside of school, which won't interfere with your regular academic and personal activities. Knowledge Reinforcement: Working allows you to apply and reinforce the knowledge you've acquired in school, deepening your understanding. Financial Earnings: It provides an opportunity to earn money, supporting your educational expenses or personal needs. Skill Development: The work experience can enhance your resume, laying a foundation for better job opportunities in the future.

Cons

Low Hourly Pay: The salary paid on an hourly basis is not very high, which might not meet all financial needs. Dependence on Instructor Requirements: The job highly depends on the demands of your instructors, and their expectations for TAs can vary widely. Some may require attendance in class, while others might demand extensive office hours, making the experience somewhat reliant on luck. Inconsistency in Duties: Given the varying demands of different instructors, the job responsibilities can fluctuate significantly, which can lead to unpredictability in workload and time commitment.

Pros

Flexible work schedule. Great and kind staff to work with. My team is wonderful

Cons

Salary not competing with inflation and is not competitive especially for the Boston area. On my salary I cannot afford to live close to my work. The "merit" increases this year were laughable - not competing with inflation nor cost of living.
