Pros
Great attention to detail on geological models
Cons
Day 1) Co-worker puts hand on my arm and tells me she's never had s** in a bogger bucket. I'm on my first Day I just wanted to fit in and learn the role. Day 2) My immediate supervisor jumps in the car with me and says "I don't like you" "You mean my resume?" I asked. "No, I mean you as a person" Me (completely perplexed!) "Do you mean where I studied?" Her "NO, I mean you as a person - I don't like you". Me - " Bit of an early call don't you think?" I call it how I see it she replies. She then consistently complained about me just out of earshot to the senior on site about my posture, my demeanour, about me not listening to her, most awkward work environment I've ever had the opportunity to witness. I never managed to figure out what drove this geologist to be so confrontational. Our relationship never improved. It was rough. I think this is all able to happen under bad management. So that's my final answer, bad management, lock it in.
