Pros

None except the people who are all great to work with

Cons

Finance restructure in place which is all good but the communications are unable to be trusted. In a communication meeting today the XLR8 Project director whose name was on a response to a recent review claimed not to even have heard of Glassdoor or seen the review and denied writing the response! Are naughty elves at play writing responses in peoples names at Northgate?

I’m disappointed this comment has been put on without the individual who wrote it coming to talk with me personally to better understand the situation. As I admitted in the meeting I am something of a luddite with regard to “social media”, and, on the hoof having just presented, I didn’t immediately recognise the Glassdoor platform name. I read the original review and wrote a response, which was then kindly posted for me by someone who actually understands social media. I stand by my transparency and openness in communications to all staff during this time of change and improvement and reiterate my offer made at all my presentations to come and see me if someone has an issue. The continued use of Glassdoor to make accusations against management and ‘score points’ is wearisome and doesn’t help us have the kind of open, and yes, sometimes difficult, conversations I was trying to encourage with the communications meeting mentioned. I hope we can move forward in the spirit I had intended by sharing information with the team face to face.

Pays the bills, Good BDM team.

Where to start….. Useless management. New business Team (order takers) get all the praise whilst the Account Managers do all the work. Commission structure is always tailored to New business. Paid in arrears and is always wrong, lucky if you do manage to sort it. Senior management are a waste of time, take it or leave it. Lost load of good people because of this attitude. No career progression, ones that do get promoted into seniors end up redundant. This seems to be a trend same thing every few years.
