Pros

Great atmosphere and employee culture. Wonderful co-workers who truly care about patients. I feel very supported by leadership as well.

Cons

I would love to have better insurance benefits and other employee benefits. A better discount for employees in the cafeteria. Nurses get paid less than other hospitals in the area.

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
