Competent team of professionals who are friendly and want to share knowledge. Teamwork, fairness, and kindness are essential if you want to thrive here.

Cons

No current supervisor for our department but thankfully we have done a decent job of making sure things continue to run smoothly. Some days can be a bit hectic depending upon the number of exam orders.

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
