Pros

Northside Hospital Cherokee really care about their employees. The ED management staff always step up and help out when it gets busy. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else

Cons

The building is a little crammed but we move to a new hospital later this year. Can't wait!

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
