Pros

Pay is the best incentive and now I understand why.

Cons

This orginization doesn't understand the terminology teamwork. I have met some of the most miserable people that I have ever seen in my life. They are unhappy and they want you to be unhappy as well. Self scheduling would be great if they didn’t alter it. The staff support is terrible. Some of the techs have been there 10+ years and they act as though they run the place, giving new techs a lot of push back and seem to enjoy watching us struggle. The day shift techs feel a sense of entitlement which makes it hard to work as a team. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know. Some processes & methodologies very old which makes the work even more challenging. There is a lot of double working and manual processes that are not even relevant and/or looked at for its purpose. Have to come in on days off to complete some training or squeeze it in when you are short staff and busy enough already.

Pros

I have been privileged to work for Northside Hospital for the past five years, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. During my tenure, I have benefited from the organization's commitment to employee growth through its annual internal promotion policy, which has allowed me to advance within my current department. One of the aspects I value most is Northside's support for work-life balance and professional development. While working here, I was able to begin my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program from the ground up and am on track to graduate in December 2026. The flexibility and encouragement provided by the organization have played a significant role in helping me pursue my educational goals while continuing to contribute as an employee. I was a full-time employee for most of my career with the organization and recently transitioned to part-time status to accommodate the increased demands of my nursing program. The support and understanding shown by management throughout this process have reinforced my appreciation for the company's employee-centered culture. I am grateful for the opportunities, professional growth, and support I have received over the past five years.

Cons

None that I can think of right now
