Pros

Pension and benefits are decent if you use a NSH facility.

Cons

They have policies set in place for reporting sexual harassment but confusing, also be prepared for retaliation. This use to be a great place to work until the business office got involved.

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
