Pros

I’ve worked in two hospitals cleaning of patients rooms, nursing stations hallways at the end of the day pick up all garbage as I did in the morning.

Cons

Sometimes it’s gets really busy if ur working in the emergency department, so u have to keep up with the work load.

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
