Pros

Work place environment is lay back. Free t- shirts.

Cons

Low paying!!! Pay doesn't align with today's cost of living. Annual raise is anywhere from $.60-$1.50. Slow PTO accrual. Expensive healthcare benefits.

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
