Pros

Friendly and helpful colleagues WFH, remote work option is a huge plus - many colleagues have families and I know this was a great benefit Compensation is pretty decent for what the responsibilities are, though management should factor in inflationary trends as well. Great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the system's operations, working with passionate people has been rewarding.

Cons

Productivity metrics could be tweaked - ie taking days off should not impact a rep's numbers for the month Somewhat high turnover rate - in part due to productivity monitoring. Also related to this, staffing capacity needs to be better as downsizing has resulted in less people being swamped with too many duties, especially depending on the shift (is a 24/7 laboratory call center). Is not fair for the entire department, but especially lesser-staffed shifts, reps leads and supervisors alike. Training could be tweaked to have better pacing

Pros

Office setting; nice people, cafeteria

Cons

Overworked and severely underpaid, short staffed for the amount of patients they intake to the program (on the clinician side and administrative), very low pay for administrative workers, little to no real benefits (PTO is not front loaded but trickled in: 1 hour accumulated per pay period - it would take about 4 months to accumulate 1 full day of PTO. Sick time is a similar trickle system so you end up taking a lot of unpaid time until you can’t), due to that it’s impossible to not get burnt out. The union also hasn’t negotiated a good contract if these conditions exist for those at the basic level. Food in the cafeteria is not great and sometimes gives people the runs. Also it’s expensive (full price despite working for the org; they cannot even give discounts which is weird considering how much the CEO makes and how little we do). Feel abandoned and not properly compensated. Deeply exhausted.
