Pros
Prior to 2017 JADAK beat the odds after rising from a start up to a successful global business in Syracuse NY. It was built upon a foundation of collaboration and innovation. This led to it being one of the best companies to work for in the Upstate NY area.
Cons
Over the last 18 months this growth has stalled completely under its new leadership. The culture of collaboration has been replaced with a culture of blame under a cloak of "accountability". This change is based upon two things: -Its new leadership only knows marketing and has no business running a company. They talk about strategy but there is no plan to execute it. There is a total lack of understanding and appreciation at the top of the complexities of designing and manufacturing a product due to the leaders lack of experience in anything but putting power points together. Leadership's idea of management is using phrases like "be all in" which is more of a passive aggressive threat to your employment than anything else and talks about mediocrity while being soundly mediocre. -Typically the finance team is all about efficient use of money to grow the business, however under the new leadership and due to the lack of growth, finance has turned into bean counters that are more concerned with the cost of things like coffee creamer rather than investing in growth.
