Pros

Very solid technology with loyal customer base that is really passionate for company's products. Really good engineering and founders were visionary

Cons

Lots of senior management turnover during my tenure, 4 CEOs in less than 4 years. Very hostile company culture. Technical experts often not looked after and leaving company. Lack of long term business strategy.

Pros

Good people and good autosteering products!

Cons

The management is a problem and is involved in some unethical activities. They are closely working with Hemisphere GNSS (example: the chairman of Hemisphere board is also member of Novariant's board) and they killed the GNSS technology of Novariant instead of improving it, to gain business for Hemisphere smart antennas. Everyone in the company knows about it. Now, the big issue is that Hemisphere GNSS has an inferior performance comparing with some other smart GNSS antennas in the market such as NovAtel and cannot compete (The customers are not stupid and don't buy this antenna). It means the GNSS of Novariant was discontinued due to the performance issues, but the smart antenna that they are promoting is from Hemisphere that has major performance issues!! The financial situation of Novariant is catastrophic. The sales is extremely down. AgJunction acquired Novariant in 2015. AgJunction and Hemisphere were once one company (In 2013, Hemisphere GPS sold their non-agricultural operations to Beijing UniStrong; the remaining agricultural business was called then AgJunction). It means, at first, the Novariant's GNSS was hijacked by Hemisphere through the Novariant's double-executives (like double-agents), then AgJunction (that was once the same as Hemisphere) acquired Novariant. What a mess! Like you intentionally make a company weak to transform it into an easy prey! AgJunction itself is a loss-making company. AgJunction reported 2014 revenues of $44.8m, down almost 14m comparing to 2013 revenue of 58m (you can google it online). A company that is financially in the red zone acquired Novariant that has a catastrophic financial situation! ....uhmmmmm!
