Pros

-Fast-paced environment: If you thrive in a dynamic setting where no two days are the same, this is the place for you. You're always on your toes, contributing to projects that could redefine the industry. -Culture of innovation: My experience has been that Nowsta allows for out-of-the-box thinking and creativity - the opportunity to do things differently. Leadership is open to new perspectives and suggestions. -Growth: Many opportunities to grow within the organization, maybe not always in your area of the business, but cross-functionally to learn and try new things. -Learning curve: If you love to learn, grow and develop yourself, you'll likely learn more here in a year than you might in five at a more established, slower-moving company. It's a constant learning environment that's perfect for professional growth (this type of environment isn't for everyone).

Cons

These aren't cons, per se, but things to be mindful of depending on the person you are. These environments are not for everyone, and that's OK! -Constant change: with innovation comes change, and sometimes the changes can be swift and frequent. This can be challenging for those who prefer a more steady and predictable work environment. -Work-life balance: As is common with many startups, the work can sometimes spill into late hours and weekends. While not regular, it is a likelihood. It comes with the territory of a high-growth tech company. Something to be mindful of if you're someone who values a strict separation and work and personal. It's not for the faint-hearted, but for those with drive and resilience, it could be the perfect stepping-stone to a remarkable career.

Pros

Nowsta is tackling one of the biggest challenges in today’s labor market — helping large organizations manage, schedule, and engage their hourly workforce more efficiently. The leadership team is forward-thinking, transparent, and genuinely cares about the mission and its people. The culture combines startup energy with enterprise discipline — fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven. There’s a clear focus on innovation, profitability, and creating real impact for customers and employees alike.

Cons

Like any scaling company, priorities move quickly and resources can be stretched — but that’s part of the opportunity. Success here requires adaptability, ownership, and a self-starter mentality.

Pros

Small team, good coworkers, interesting problems to solve, simple(ish) tech stack

Cons

Turnarounds, unrealistic timelines, small team but not enough headcount, CEO is very focused on particular aspects of the business but not others
