Pros

None come to mind, toxic

Cons

The work environment felt pretty toxic from the start. Leadership ran things in a very dictator-style way — everything was top-down with zero room for any mistakes, and it created a constant sense of fear among the team. People were genuinely scared to speak up or make mistakes because the vibe was that you could be let go at any moment. What bothered me most was how the company handled terminations. They’d let people go with no real warning and no chance to improve or fix whatever the issue supposedly was. It made the whole place feel unstable and unfair. If you’re thinking about joining, just know the culture is heavy on control and light on support or fairness.

Pros

Growing like crazy, tons of opportunity. Hard problems to solve that can be very satisfactory when you complete them. Remote first company. Great compensation packages. People that want to do the right thing and great people to work with that value contributions. Upper management makes efforts to recognize good work publicly. Management acknowledges there is a lot of work but also is concerned with life/work balance.

Cons

More work to do than you can shake a stick at due to the very rapid growth of the company. Processes and procedures are immature or missing. The very distributed nature of the company is sometimes an impediment to getting things done due to time zone and geography issues.

Pros

Fast moving company with some good people who are driven.

Cons

One board member has created the toxic environment others on Glassdoor seem to have flagged over the past few months that is permeating around the company. She's pushed out people and created a sense of fear about crossing her that is really unhealthy. Lots of Careless People vibes now at Nscale. I would avoid.
