Pros

The patients are the only positive thing I can think of.

Cons

They only care about money. They don’t care about their patients or staff. Scheduling is ridiculous and no one ever knows what’s going on or who’s supposed to be where. They lie to patients and staff. It’s sad.

Pros

As an RN working PRN, I have flexibility to choose my work days. There is a minimum requirement of 12 hours per month. I work in the patient's home as a home health nurse. I enjoy meeting and getting to know my patients and their families, teaching them about their health, and supporting their care journey as part of the health care team.

Cons

Communication between nurses can be sometimes difficult if something is not mentioned during nurses report. But we can always email the case manager or call the nurse if we have a question. I have seen it improved when we have a notebook to log daily cares and concerns in the home.
