I joined Nuffield Health with the hope of developing my skills in a new role, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing.
I felt unwelcome and unsupported in POA department. The training provided was poor and inadequate for the highly specific responsibilities expected of me. There was no structured plan or meaningful guidance, which left me feeling unprepared and set up to fail. My designated mentor was dismissive and unapproachable, and I often felt like I was a burden rather than a colleague being supported to succeed.
Communication within the team was lacking, and I often felt unheard and unvalued. There was very little encouragement or inclusion, which made it difficult to integrate or feel part of the team. Overall, the work environment was not a healthy or positive one, and it fell far short of the professional and supportive culture I had expected from an organisation like Nuffield Health.
I would not recommend this hospital as a workplace, especially for those looking for mentorship, team collaboration, or professional growth.
