Pros

I have worked at O' Sullivan Films for slightly less than 1 year. I have found the 4 on 4 off rotating schedule very liberating, allowing my family and I to accomplish a lot more on my days off. Production floor pay is very competitive, locally. Benefits are great as a whole, although I personally consider the health insurance premiums to be on the high end of tolerable. Other benefits are fantastic. O' Sullivan's offers a health fair, safety achievement rewards program, etc. etc. Having worked at numerous manufacturing operations, I can say that companies that take this level of vested interest in all aspects of employee well being, are becoming more and more rare. Management does an excellent job of communicating the market climate and our fiscal positions to each and every employee, which evokes confidence and speaks to a high level of transparency. It is apparent that senior management and ownership are coninually re-investing in the company, which helps to foster security. One herald of a good employer is longevity in the workforce, and it is common for employees at this company to have 30 or 40 years in. Opportunities for advancement are abundant, and honestly based on performance, which is a great consideration for the job seeker. If you are either looking for a job for a few years, or are seeking a career to settle into for the long term, I would recommend working for O' Sullivan Films

Cons

Health insurance premiums a little high (I believe this may be from a generally older long term workforce with higher health care costs)
