Very long hours, unforgiving leadership, zero room for mistakes, military-like methods to discipline, extended traveling, and harsh environment/working conditions. Upper management is not always willing to invest in cutting edge technology, which can severely hinder the ability for employees to meet expectations. This is not a workplace for the faint of heart.

work hours told at hire are not what is expected after hire, too many managers not enough workers, ask for input but only because they read the should do that in one of their management books - they do not want any input that is different from their thoughts, say think outside of box but mean within their box
