      Pros

      This company has people working at all levels who have been there since the 1980s. That’s a real testament to the company in today’s climate. The depth of knowledge and the strength of the team culture run deep, and that’s what truly makes this company stand out as an employer.

      Cons

      However, there is an expectation that you get up to speed quickly, and the learning curve is steep. They have an excellent, highly sophisticated product called Profit4, and you’ll need to know your stuff.

      Pros

      Watch terrible managers in their natural habitat and learn exactly what not to do when you eventually escape. You'll collect plenty of horror stories and "what not to do" examples for future interviews. Your ego will be regularly crushed by incompetent decisions from above, keeping you very grounded.

      Cons

      Constant stress, anxiety, and burnout become the norm rather than the exception. Dealing with toxicity, favouritism, gaslighting, and backstabbing. Below-market pay, stingy benefits, or "we're a family" excuses when asking for raises. Good people leave constantly, leaving you with even more work and a revolving door of panicked new hires. An environment that is great for building character and funny war stories, but terrible for your career trajectory, happiness, and long-term well-being.
