They are flexible, and the lower management are really good.
Cons
They do not give raises. They blame the funding from the government. There is also a big disconnect between leadership and DSPs.

We are very pleased to have given a $1.00/hour pay adjustment to our DSPs in the past year! Our DSPs are well trained and are committed to the people we support. We are advocating for additional increases in our reimbursement rates with the Legislature in order to raise the pay even higher for our DSPs. They deserve it!
Most of the time it was an ok work environment. Pretty good benefits and work life balance. Really good trainings.
Cons
Lots of management issues at the group home I worked at. Rude coworkers who violated rights and no action from management. My boss didn't take a situation seriously so I had to report it on my own. That's why I left, hold your workers accountable when they mess up or all the good ones leave. I'm sure there are better group homes that are part of OHI, just not the one I worked at.
