Pros

Great benefits (education, gym, 10 day sick leave, 25 day holidays, food allowance) and salary (EUR 38,000)

Cons

My position was made redundant due to the company's economy, yet just a week before this happened, OKG part of OKX gave away hundreds of MackBook Pro, iPads, 1TB iPhones 14 pro and crypto. The company doesn't seem to have economic issues otherwise, they wouldn't give away such pricy gadgets, the iPhone alone costs more than €2,000!!! It seems that the 'closed' the office in Dublin so that they hire in countries where they can pay less (Turkey, Malaysia, Brazil, etc). They didn't close the office as it was highlighted by HR in Dublin as the rent was renewed in January at WeWork. OKX has just hired CEO a few days ago, hence they are not closing the Dublin office. Additionally, in the redundancy letter HR mentioned they were not able to find a suitable position. This is not true because they never try to do so. I asked them if I could apply for the open positions but they were not helpful. Despite the salary and benefits I would not work again at OKX or recommend it as they are not transparent. This is my second redundancy and this was was the worst. Considering the size of the company I thought they would offer us a redundancy compensation but we got 0! At least let us keep the laptop but that was not the case. I could not sleep for days due to the redundancy as I did not see coming.

Pros

- Complimentary food and drinks in the office - Some co-workers are working hard and friendly - Hybrid work that can work 2 days from home

Cons

- The company experienced hiring followed by layoffs, which raised concerns about workforce planning. - No severance package, career transition assistance, or visa support was provided following the layoff, which negatively impacted the perception of the company's employee culture. - There was a tendency to assign blame rather than focus on collaborative problem-solving.
