Cons

- Long hours at office is a regular thing, everyone has to wrk over weekends as well......! Stressful wrk envrnmnt, all done in th name of "fast growing company" - High attritn rate, so workload keep incresn on existing employees. Avg span of an employee is <1 yr - Sen mngmnt dsn't care abt employees, they just thnk of wrk to be done, else employees are threatened of being fired, or are "askd to leave" - No clear planning at top. Entire tech team laid off in mid-2018 (nearly 20 people!!!) - Lot of ego issues between people in senior mngmnt. They dnt tke hlp frm each othr's teams - Lot of nepotism. Ex-employees from Copal get pref above non-Copal - HR very arrogant, keeps chillin all the time, outsource their wrk. No frmewrk to assess employee satisfactn or perf. Stll thy survive because thy are ex-Copal - No effrt to give trainin to employees, only expctatn is to get wrk done, else be prprd to get fired!!!!

Pros

* Innovative and uniquely positioned fintech - learnt more here in my first 12 months than in my past 6 years in my previous job * Mission-driven company (solving the "missing middle") with incredible client traction * Incredible opportunity and responsibility given, with ability to grow with the company

Cons

* As a growing startup, often doing things for the first time - so requires ability and desire to go beyond scope of role

Pros

- Some of the smartest people you'll ever meet - Extremely hard working people - Ambitious people - Culture of high risk tolerance - will give upstart young players a chance - Extremely competitive nature - can rub the wrong people the wrong way -- can be very fun for others - Outgoing, friendly people (for the most part)

Cons

- Legacy culture is a bit slow moving in its shift without someone really making impact (which has happened of late) - Not the most affirmative confirmation -- not very compliment heavy culture (for the most part)
