ONTHEMARC is one of those rare companies that truly lives its values. During my time there, I felt genuinely seen, trusted, and supported—not just as an employee, but as a whole person. I had the absolute privilege of working under Marc (owner) and Caitlin (COO), and they are the unicorn leaders I had always hoped to find. They lead with integrity, clarity, kindness, and deep commitment—not just to the business, but to every individual on the team. Marc is one of the most inspiring leaders I’ve ever worked with. He brings a rare mix of intensity, heart, and humanity to his role. He doesn’t lead from a pedestal—he leads by example, staying closely connected to the work and the people behind it. He pays attention to what matters and never loses sight of the people doing the work. His passion is infectious, and he challenges you to grow, take ownership, and keep raising the bar—while offering genuine support every step of the way. He brings vision and fire, but also empathy and loyalty. That kind of leadership is hard to find. Caitlin is equally exceptional. Her emotional intelligence and calm leadership style create a sense of safety and purpose in the workplace. She’s collaborative, grounded, and brings such clarity and structure to everything she touches. I learned so much from watching how she leads—with steadiness, with grace, and with the kind of decisiveness that earns trust instantly. As the head of HR, I had a unique vantage point. Even though I was only with the company for just under two years, the pace and intensity of the work bonded me to the mission, the people, and the leadership in a deep way. I was close to many of the major personnel decisions, and I had the rare opportunity to see how Marc and Caitlin think, operate, and lead behind the curtain. What I witnessed consistently was thoughtfulness, integrity, and compassion. Their decisions—even the hard ones—are made with real care, intention, and a deep concern for the people involved. My positive opinion of their leadership isn’t from the outside looking in—it’s informed by direct experience and proximity to the core of how this company runs. Together, they’ve built something truly special at ONTHEMARC. The company is fast-paced, high-performing, and committed to excellence—but it’s also deeply human. The broader team is made up of passionate, dedicated, and good-hearted people who care about the work and each other. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here, a team-first energy, and a shared pride in what’s being built. Why I Left: My decision to leave was entirely personal and unrelated to the company itself. ONTHEMARC gave me the most meaningful chapter of my career—and a space to grow, lead, and show up fully. If life circumstances were different, I would have stayed and never left.

For Seven+ years at On the Marc Events has been VERY rewarding. The ownership provides great support while trusting our abilities. The open environment encourages honest communication and continuous growth. I've consistently found opportunities to expand my skills and take on new challenges. What keeps me engaged is the variety - every event brings unique demands that prevent the work from ever becoming routine. The strong community I've built makes OTM more than just a workplace, it's family.
