Optomi has a solid training acadomi, and that's about where the development stops. The leadership is severely underdeveloped, and the culture is so unprofessional. The inappropriate conversations that happen at work, "in office happy hours", favoritism, and blurred lines of personal/professional make this an extremely toxic place to work. Also, the way that my leader spoke about team members and how the team spoke about the leader is a direct reflection of how it feels to work here. Leadership also requires all lower tenured people to be in office on Fridays, but literally no one is there to help us. Leadership is always too busy to help, and encourages us to make 200-500+ calls a day. Meanwhile, most people are looking for a way out.
This job has destroyed my mental health and I am counting the days until I can leave. If you're thinking of working here and reading this, find another job. Staffing firms for recruiting and sales are a dime a dozen.
