- Archaic views. Many have been with the business for too long, completely out of touch with what attracts and retains good staff. Zero interest in changing their mindset or exploring new ways of working. No flexible working offering, expectation is all must do 3 days a week in the office as a minimum. Quite happy to risk attracting or losing good talent.
- Senior leadership are only willing to see what they want to, have zero interest in finding the balance between whats right for staff and whats right financially. All talk, zero action or intention.
- Tech is awful. Systems are slow and unadvanced. Expectation to fund your own tech if your job allows you to work from home.
- Culture of zero trust (similar to being back at primary school!) and blame whenever possible.
