Pros
It's a small company the relies on it's workers to learn lots and become self sufficient. The culture is friendly, the technology is interesting, there are lots of opportunities to try out new things and even when things get busy it never feels dire.
Cons
It's smaller so processes are less defined, and sometimes communication and direction can be weaker
