Pros
My development team were fantastic and I learnt a lot from them. They have private healthcare.
Cons
Everything else, I only survived here for 2 years because my team shielded me from the toxic environment for a long time. The culture and expectations set by Upper management and the CEO are ridiculous. They have implemented a shift style weekend rota for developers to be on call just in case anything goes wrong 2 O'clock at night when everyone is asleep and no one is on their site, for no extra pay. This is to offset their lack of respect for unit testing in a data driven software company where we arent given enough time to ensure our code is fully tested. They have also been known to retroactively remove pay raises negotiated in the previous quarter to bump their numbers up for quarterly reports, this happened to me and one other person who I worked with. There aren't any career development opportunities either, I only learnt a lot because I got lucky with the team I was in.
