Pros
Some of the people that work for OWC are great! However, their hands are tied due to poor leadership. work life balance is great. You will be able to leave work at work. very rarely will you be asked to work late.
Cons
The entire leadership team folds to the owners ideology. right or wrong. They will follow suit. This is a company that has had 4 sales senior leadership team members leave or fired in less 9 months. The leadership team changes their mind every time they blink their eyes. This is a company who did not give their sales team sales goals until July of 2024. Then proceeded to "eliminate" their roles due to lack of production just 2 months later. Even though some of these sales people were producing great growth. OWC believes that sales people are order takers, and admin workers. OWC does not see any value in relationship building. OWC does not have a marketing strategy that supports net new B2B business. Their strategy is to randomly pick up the phone and dial companies as if this is the 90's. Their marketing team is worried about driving additional traffic to their website. OWC does not value B2B sales. Long story short: OWC does not care about you, if you are leaving another job to accept a role at OWC be prepared for them to "Eliminate" your role in less than a year. This is very common for them to do. There were sales team members who's accounts were up 30% - 300% and their roles were still "eliminated". Coming into the role their customers were reluctant to accept introduction calls from the new sales team coming on board because they knew the team wouldn't last longer than a year. We had a customer tell us " we will see if you are here in a year". If you do end up accepting a role with OWC. Pay attention to the red flags. Lastly, I was told by leadership that my role was safe. Then OWC decided to eliminate my role 3 weeks later.
