Good place to get some experience on a paper and interviewing. Staff are generally very nice and welcoming as well as open to new ideas for the paper.

Only the editors are paid. There are a lot of office politics not necessarily within the paper but within the school.

Good people on the board, but too many have been board members since onset of organization. There are no term limits and, therefore, there is little new blood to revitalize the group. The mission of the organization is valid and still relevant. It serves women midlife and older and focuses on following and impacting legislation that affects women.

The membership of the organization does not respond to calls for action or participation. Best efforts do not seem to work. Getting more participation in programs and general meetings is difficult.
