One of the best K-12 public school systems in the US. Top paying public school system in TN. District and building administration treat people like professionals. School board and community support. Demands high quality, professional teaching and leadership from employees.
Cons
Small district, so few opportunities to move into principal, assistant principal, curriculum coach, or coordinator positions. Pays so well, that people can get "stuck" in teaching positions or have to leave district to move into administration positions.
