Pros

The company is big on developing it's culture and fostering it's employees with mentoring.

Cons

There are not opportunities for advancement. Pay is low and they have a habit of underpaying their employees who have been there for years (even at below market rate). Medical insurance through the employer is expensive.

Pros

Very competitive salary and bonus structure. Growth mindset as a company wanting to better serve the community, as well as to help individuals advance their careers in physical therapy. Fun team. Great community for families. 40 minutes 1:1 with patients (no double booking). Assistance from aides to get patients started, set up modalities, do cleanup/setup, and even help with some exercises as needed. Company seeks and listens to employee and customer feedback. Efficient Raintree EMR used on laptops on rolling desks allows clinicians who work hard to keep up on notes throughout the day and avoid most take home documentation. Very good work spaces and equipment. Company supports clinicians who wish to specialize and seek additional training. Generous Con Ed budget. Weekly clinical staff meetings, monthly meetings with the whole company. Average 45-52 visits/week depending on time of year.

Cons

If you don't like continued growth and the changes that come with it, stay away. If you don't like having productivity goals (even when very manageable), this job probably isn't for you. Only 40 minutes for evals (but this allows for 40 minutes at every follow up appt as well). No documentation time set aside in schedule (very uncommon anyways). In an effort to improve financial literacy throughout the company, PT's averse to being knowledgable towards finances or talking about numbers might self-select out.
