Pros
My co-workers at every level are talented experts who genuinely care about others and each other; this is not something I've experienced at other companies. The executive team is supportive, trustworthy and transparent as it relates to all aspects of the business and this fosters empowerment and a strong cultural connection at all levels. The Observable product holds unlimited promise as data impacts and affects everyone on the planet; a good portion of our team's work (outside of improving the product & building/supporting our community) is focused on supporting important human interest topics.
Cons
Hybrid and remote work is amazing and has tremendous value to me personally. That said, it will be great to see more of my globally distributed teammates in person once the pandemic is behind us!
