Great place to work - Associate Obsidian Analysis Employee Review

Good place to learn and grow, especially early in one's career. Intellectually vibrant organization with motivated employees. Strong community feel, particularly among junior staff. Other, more negative posts seem to be the exception more than the rule. Company is undergoing a period of growth. Inevitable pains, perhaps. Interesting, substantive work.

Compensation slightly lower than similar organizations. On the flip side, opportunities for advancement are more readily available.

-Great place for new grads to start and get exposure to some interesting projects -Great place for new grads to see examples of poor leadership and what "not" to do -Bagel, pie, and cookie days in the office

-Terrible, misleading, downright sneaky management practices -Some managers are TERRIBLE leaders. No idea how they got that position over anyone. Some of them couldn't lead a picnic -Horrible people in charge of terrific employees. Never a good combination. -Don't bother reading the employee handbook - they don't follow it. Remember, Virginia is an "at will" employment state -The parties and happy hours are chances for management to find out your business so they can use it against you if they have to -People still under the spell that the Cadmus transition will change everything and make it 'right'. Wake up! You must cut cancer out - it doesn't heal on its own.
