Pros
Upbeat environment. We had motivation meetings every morning where they shared some good tips on how to change your mindset to achieve your goals that I still use to this day.
Cons
The company culture. First the interview was very misleading. I knew that I was going to have to be determined to learn and grow within the company but they were not honest about the demand. We had to sell makeup bags, flat irons and grooming kits person to person in parking lots. They even expected us to just walk through open doors confidently even if we knew if was private property. the lead who i would go sell with was actually sexually assaulted while we were separated and we just had to get back to selling smh. They also expected us to work 6 days a week 10 hours a day and if we wanted to grow work 7 days a week. I told them that I needed to see my psychiatrist once a month and they told me that I wasn't that determined and that if they let me go then I had no reason to not hit my sales goals everyday. Then the people who didn't do well were shunned by all the team leads then fired. They were once taking a company photo and when i was invited into the picture the owner himself expressed his irritation with me being in the picture. Once I started to see through everything I stopped caring about hitting my sales goals. On my 3rd day of not hitting my goal i was pulled into the owners office along with 4 other teams leads to watch me be fired. The owner told me that he needs winners on his team and he thinks that Im meant to just be an employee not a boss. I looked him in his eye and told him that he was wrong about me , thanked him for the opportunity and left. All in all this was a stressful and invalidating experience. Luckily i have been raised to know my worth, but for others who are looking for a job and to grow their careers this type of environment can be very toxic and dangerous.
