Pros

Initially upon applying they will invite to a tour of the warehouse and yard where you can see what the company is about. At the same time you can ask questions as they're very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of everything (the training team). At the end you're asked to fill in a questionnaire with all the basics and what hours you can do. If selected you'll then be given a start date for training which is not even one week. You'll spend 2 days in a classroom doing scenarios and tests. With a driving test as well on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day (all being well) you'll pair up with one of your fellow new starters where you'll drive half the delivery each. You wont do a full normal delivery but enough to warm you up to it. After that you'll gradually be given deliveries that will increase in amount. The training team are good. Once you get going management can be touch and go depending on the day they're having, however being on the road you dont need to worry top much. Arrive on time for shift, do what you need to, head home, done. A good stepping stone although they also offer incentives for advancement, I could t tell you how well this works as this was a stepping stone for me. Some customers will tip Once you've finished your deliveries and if you return before your shift is scheduled to end you can still go home and be paid for that shift as a whole.

Cons

Delivery numbers dont always make sense depending on where you're sent out. Complaints if you're late, yet you will be expected not to drive like DPD. If you miss a day at the start after the classroom training they'll still stick you out there with a higher rate of deliveries.
