Ok, but not for everyone - Sales Associate Ocean State Job Lot Employee Review

Because I worked the morning shift, I only was able to work 4-5 hours a day. II would have liked more. Also, my manager kept cutting my hours. There were some weeks I would work 25 hours, the next week I would have 20, and the next I would have 16. Consistency on work hours would have been helpful especially since you are only getting paid minimum wage. The managers there also bring you in for 30, 60, and 90 day reviews. Even if you are the best worker in the store, they will tell you that you are only scoring average. It would have been nice to have felt appreciated for my hard work.
