Pros
Every day is a new challenge and you get to work with some highly talented people. There are many benefits to the role outside of just work. With lots of group activities and a sense of community Managers do have a one to one relationship with staff usually and will do everything they can to help you do well
Cons
It’s a stressful job for the amount of pay you receive. To succeed in the business you need to be willing to forfeit your own time to progress. A lot of lateral progression can feel like you are sitting still even when taking on more demanding extra work.
