Pros

Friendly working environment sometimes, vibrant offices

Cons

There is absolutely no chance of getting a pay rise, the salaries are so scuffed at Octopus. There are people who are somehow earning much more than people who actually put in the effort. When you finally qualify for a pay rise, you’ll get turned down because somehow they’ve now added a further 5 criteria without telling you. There are constant excuses to not give you a pay rise, oh but they won’t hesitate to order lunch in for your team every week. Free lunch doesn’t pay my bills.

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to leave your honest feedback. I’m sorry to hear you feel stagnant in your pay progression, we know how important feeling valued and appropriately rewarded is and it’s key we get it right. We have done a lot of work over the last few years when it comes to our teams’ progression and development to make this as clear and transparent as possible but if this is not the case for you then we’d love to have the opportunity to improve here! If you feel comfortable, I would appreciate being able to discuss this with you or if you would rather speak to another member of the team you can speak with any other Operations Managers or Head of Operations from Leicester or across the business. All the best, Fay Olner, Site Operations Manager

Pros

Some members of the company are the best people you’ll ever meet.

Cons

Genuinely a complete mess. Incompetent, passive aggressive leadership that repeatedly makes both poor and confusing company decisions. I have some absolutely crazy stories from things I’ve witnessed here. There’s things that are so bizarre and dysfunctional, they belong in an alternate reality.
