Pros

Wonderful people, interesting product, good way to build experience at a reputable company. Working hours are not bad at all and I rarely feel overwhelmingly stressed. I am truly thankful for this chapter of my life no matter where I end up down the road.

Cons

Very poor lead quality and lead distribution is a mess. Often is very much luck based which can be discouraging and hard to feel like you're getting enough opportunities to live up to your potential. There is a lot of disconnect and chaos within leadership which is common at a quickly growing international company and it doesn't bother me that much but I see many other people really struggle with it. There isn't a ton of clear opportunity for long term career advancement within sales or other departments based out of San Francisco so there is a lot of turn over which is sad to see.

Cons

The recent and sudden return to office mandate completely tanked morale overnight. The timing and tone has left employees questioning if the execs are out of touch and just don't care about employees. Overall the communication from management in 2026 has been that we all met or exceeded our goals last year, but in North America we're not profitable so now the individual contributors need to be reigned in and benefits cut while we raise the price of the product. It's not a good time to join Odoo. The office is not actually in San Francisco or accessable by public transit.
