Pros

Working at Odoo AU has been a highly valuable experience with strong professional growth and constant learning. The fast-paced environment provides exposure to a wide range of industries and real-world ERP challenges, making each day different and engaging. There is a strong startup culture that encourages initiative, autonomy, and hands-on problem solving, with clear opportunities for career progression. You work alongside highly skilled colleagues in an open and inclusive environment, where different perspectives are valued and the impact on customers is visible and rewarding. Additional benefits include flexible working hours, lunch provided, team events, team sports, and opportunities for work-related travel. Overall, Odoo AU offers a supportive and dynamic environment with a strong product and a culture that makes it a rewarding place to grow professionally. The leadership team is very supportive and approachable, which further enhances the overall experience.

Cons

- As with any fast-scaling company, priorities can shift quickly and there can be occasional gaps in communication from head office, which can make alignment on priorities more challenging at times. This requires adaptability to stay aligned in a fast-moving environment. - Workloads can be intense at times, although this also drives continuous learning and improvement.

Pros

- good introduction to implementation/functional consulting - consultants cannot specialize so you will learn about all business functions and workflows in comparison to working for a MS or SAP partner - rapid approach to implementation so you get experience quickly - can also assist with sales and product development; good exposure to a lot of functions at a tech/SaaS company - younger, diverse working environment - free lunch, coffee, snacks

Cons

- very flat organization so not a lot of opportunity for growth - very low pay bands - benefits are not the best; no equity even though they like to market themselves as a “start up” - very poor leadership, very chaotic operationally - poor internal training/investment into professional growth
